A hand-tied fleece blanket may seem simple, but for a person experiencing loss it can mean comfort, warmth, and a reminder that someone cares. Since 2014, our club members have come together to create and deliver handmade blankets to those in need.

Locally Delivered
Our blankets go to support Airdrie families experiencing loss due to fire, illness, or accident, providing comfort during some of life’s most difficult moments.
Where They Go
Our blankets are donated to families and individuals in Airdrie who have experienced loss through illness, accident, fire or other tragedies. It is our way to offer comfort and support through a difficult time in their lives. Each blanket is thoughtfully made and given with care, providing warmth, compassion, and a small reminder that they are not alone during challenging moments.
Blanket Making
Our blanket-making events are filled with connection and purpose. Members gather in teams to prep fabric, assemble, and tie blankets by hand. In just one evening, we create heartfelt gifts, laughing and sharing as we work. More than a craft session, blanket nights are a chance to build community, with everyone playing a part from cutting fabric to prepping stations, ending with a sense of fulfillment.
