Who are we?
Airdrie 1st is a volunteer-led organization dedicated to supporting the Airdrie community through service, fundraising, and local partnerships. Since 1977, we have provided aid to families, seniors, and individuals in need.
From holiday hampers to community events and charitable programs, we believe in the power of giving back. With the support of volunteers and donors, we continue to put Airdrie first, making a lasting impact year after year.

Donations We Accept
We welcome new gifts for children, teens, adults, and seniors, including toys, games, puzzles, socks, mitts, chocolates, and small gifts. Gift cards for clothing, groceries, gas, and local stores are also appreciated.
Monetary donations are always welcome, with tax receipts available for contributions of $20 or more.

A Warm Hug When It's Needed Most
One of our most cherished initiatives, Comfort Blankets, brings comfort to individuals by providing handmade blankets to those in need. Whether it’s a family in Airdrie experiencing loss due to illness, accident, fire, or other tragedies, these blankets serve as a symbol of warmth and care. We also turn this initiative into a meaningful program, where volunteers and members help support the community through donations and other ways to get involved.
