Programs
Blanket For Kids
One of our most cherished initiatives, Blankets for Kids brings comfort to children by providing handmade blankets to those in need. Whether it’s a child in the Alberta Children’s Hospital or a family going through a difficult time, these blankets serve as a symbol of warmth and care. We also turn this initiative into a fun team-building event, where volunteers come together to craft these special gifts.
Caring Closet
Caring for our community has been at the heart of Airdrie 1st Club since the very beginning. Inspired by this mission, we created the Caring Closet — a special initiative currently housed at the North Rocky View Community Links office. It offers thoughtfully chosen gifts for children whose families may not have the means to provide one. With compassion and discretion, NRVCL helps connect those in need with a meaningful gift, no questions asked, just kindness delivered.
Holiday Hamper
Each year, our Holiday Hamper Program provides essential support to those facing financial hardship during the holiday season. Through generous donations and sponsorships, we help families, seniors, and individuals celebrate with food and gifts. Community support allows us to fulfill hundreds of hampers, ensuring no one is left behind during this special time of year.
